Then they started making changes to the platform which made it harder and harder to use, and tried to be all things to all people. I feel this was a mistake, as even though their membership soared past 1 billion users around the world, I think they have isolated a core market of people who want curated, reliable information in an easy-to-access fashion. I also think they should do more to curb the political rants and cyber bullying that frequently occurs on the site.
